Scamming the e-mail scammers
Great Blog on Internet Alerts and Resources
From the June 27 BIA E-Brief
With the July 1 ban on land filling video display devices such as computer monitors and TVs, a local nonprofit is offering certain businesses the opportunity to donate used equipment. The organization will remove old electronic devices free of charge and refurbish them for the "Computers in Every Home" program, which provides PCs to low-income families, disabled residents and nonprofits
NHPR needs your help
NHPR is seeking individuals throughout the Granite State to contribute to our news coverage through our new Public Insight Network. In short, the Network uses e-mail and the web to help us find expertise and knowledge that we wouldn’t otherwise find. This better informs our coverage of important issues in New Hampshire.
One of our goals with the Network is to make sure we’re covering issues that matter to New Hampshire business owners. I saw your e-mail address through the Lake Sunapee Region Chamber of Commerce, and I wanted to invite you to share your experiences through our short, confidential questionnaire. Here’s a link:
By the way, we never quote Network sources without their permission, and we never – ever – use the Network to ask for donations or memberships.
Also, would you be able to forward this on to people you know in New Hampshire who are involved in small business, either through your website, an e-mail list or simply forwarding this to individuals? It would be a great help to us in making sure our news coverage is well-informed and reflects what’s on the minds of small business owners as candidates come through the state.
Please feel free to write me with any questions; I’d be happy to tell you more about Public Insight. And thanks for your help!
