Dressed in period costume, these earlier neighbors tell of their lives and times, making the history of the community come alive. This enterprising compnay had 5 steamers operating at one time, and owned docks around the lake. The Pilot House of the Kearsarge is on display. A big part of the fair is the Apple Pie Contest, that is judged the day of the fair by local luminariesl, after which the prize-winning pies are then sold by the slice.
